– FEATURES –
A one-of-a-kind tail tip design
A specially designed tail tips paid homage to the legendary “BMW 3.0 CSL“. It has a thick-walled slash-cut tail tips, emphasizing the texture of the edges, and the surface is blasted to express a dull glossy finish. Features a sound deadening inner slits to create a one-of-a-kind tail tip design.
Gentle yet powerful sound
The OEM exhaust of the G8X generation M produces a sporty sound that is distinctive of the M series. Since replacing only the main muffler does not produce a significant change in sound, the HKSTUDIE exhaust features a layout that deletes the middle muffler. The unique sound tuning based on frequency analysis has achieved gentle yet powerful sound.
Compliant with Japan’s vehicle inspection regulations
Although it gives off a powerful sound, it still meets the strict sound regulation in Japan. This products can be used safely for daily use and is compliant with Japan’s vehicle inspection regulations.
Reduce exhaust pressure by up to 35%
Optimized pipe layout and a main muffler without restrictions reduce exhaust pressure by up to 35% compared to the OEM muffler. This results in increased boost responsiveness and higher output at high RPM range and increases power output by up to 5kw and torque by up to 15Nm.
A 2-year or 30,000 km product warranty
By manufacturing in-house at our factory in Japan and conducting strict quality control, we are able to offer a 2-year or 30,000 km product warranty from the time of purchase.

– PERFORMANCE –
35% reduction in exhaust resistance (max.)
By optimizing the layout, adopting a straight pipe without squeezing and the internal structure of the main muffler without restrictions, exhaust resistance is significantly reduced compared to the OEM exhaust as shown in the graph below as a result of in-house testing.
Flow Bench Testing

Power/Torque Curve

Increases output +5kw and torque +15Nm
Lowering exhaust pressure leads to higher engine power output. As shown in the figure below, the response of the turbo boost is improved in the low rpm range, and torque is increased by up to 15Nm. As for power output, the better exhaust flow leads to more power at higher engine speeds, increasing the power by up to 5kw. All tests at our headquarters were conducted using vehicles in stock condition except for the exhaust system. The difference in power output between OEM and HKSTUDIE exhaust systems will widen further when the ECU is analyzed and tuned to increase power output.

Sound Features
Exhaust sound tuning based on frequency analysis
Generally, low-frequency noise below 100 Hz are said to be unpleasant and oppressive, and are described as drone sounds in the cabin of a car. HKSTUDIE produced various prototype exhausts and conducted sound frequency analysis.
General exhaust with internally constructed mufflers will have a marked drone sound (see the graph below around 100 Hz), while the OEM exhaust successfully muffles the low-frequency sound.
This drone sound is especially noticeable when cruising at 80 to 100 km/h on highways. HKSTUDIE exhaust has newly designed the inside of the muffler silencer to suppress the muffled sound and to emphasize the mid-frequency sound above 200Hz, which is considered to be a sporty sound.
Thanks to its gentle sound during cruising, the driver and passengers will not feel any discomfort, and once the driver steps on the gas pedal, they will enjoy the powerful sound.

Exhaust Sound Level
In-house measurements of UN-ECE R51, a rough guide to the volume of an exhaust system, are shown below. It is a comparison of three different types of mufflers: a stock exhaust, a prototype of a general muffler, and an HKSTUDIE exhaust.
| dB(A) | Left | Right | ||
| Partial Throttle | Throttle Off | Partial Throttle | Throttle Off | |
| OEM | 85.9 | 93.7 | 89.0 | 94.0 |
| HKSTUDIE | 88.5 | 95.8 | 92.2 | 96.6 |
| General | 84.6 | 92.6 | 87.0 | 92.6 |

Where a product is eligible for a warranty remedy, the available remedy will depend on the nature of the issue and the requirements of applicable law. This may include repair, replacement, a refund or another appropriate remedy.
If you experience an issue with a Zero Offset product and believe it may be covered under the applicable warranty, please contact our team via our Contact Us page to discuss your claim.
Please note the following conditions:
- Proof of purchase must be provided (e.g. your Zero Offset order number, #XXXXX) before we can assess your warranty claim.
- Cosmetic damage and general wear and tear resulting from normal product use are not covered under our voluntary warranty, except where required by applicable law.
- Damage or failures resulting from improper care, maintenance, handling or use may not be covered under our voluntary warranty, subject to the ACL.
- The use of unsuitable or acid-based cleaning products that damage or adversely affect automotive products may affect voluntary warranty coverage for the resulting damage. Please contact our team for recommended product care and maintenance instructions.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to consumers under the ACL or other applicable legislation.
2. Parts & Accessories Warranty
Zero Offset offers a one-year voluntary warranty on Zero Offset body kits and accessories, including pre-painted products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not extend to Zero Offset products purchased second-hand, subject to any rights available under applicable law.
This voluntary warranty does not cover damage, defects or failures resulting from:
- Improper handling, installation or fitment.
- General wear and tear.
- Breakages, scuffs, scratches or other damage caused by external impacts.
- Improper care, maintenance or use.
- Modifications, alterations or repairs carried out incorrectly.
Where a product has been installed incorrectly or modified, any warranty claim may be assessed to determine whether the reported issue resulted from the installation, modification or repair.
All other branded products sold by Zero Offset are subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions. We recommend reviewing the relevant manufacturer's warranty before purchasing. If you require clarification, please contact our team, who will be happy to assist.
Zero Offset is not responsible for extending a third-party manufacturer's voluntary warranty beyond the terms offered by that manufacturer. However, nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies you may have against Zero Offset under the ACL.
3. Self-Installation Disclaimer
Customers who choose to install products themselves, or engage a third party to carry out the installation, do so at their own risk with respect to installation-related damage or failures.
Zero Offset cannot be held responsible for damage, defects, product failures or other issues to the extent that they are caused by or result from incorrect installation, improper fitment, misuse or unauthorised modification, subject to applicable consumer rights under the ACL.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are installed properly, using appropriate tools, equipment and installation procedures. At all times, we recommend reaching out to our team if you have any questions.
Recommended Installation – Dealers & Installers Across Australia
To ensure the best possible fitment and minimise the risk of installation-related issues, Zero Offset recommends having your products installed by a professional.
We work with a network of dealers and installers across Australia who can assist with the correct installation and fitment of your products. We strongly encourage customers to utilise our network to help minimise the risk of incorrect fitment, product damage and installation-related failures.
To find a dealer or installer near you, please visit our Zero Offset Dealers & Installers Directory.
Customers who choose to undertake installation themselves should ensure they have the appropriate knowledge, tools and equipment to complete the installation correctly.
Where a warranty claim relates to a product that has been self-installed or installed by a third party, Zero Offset may request relevant information and assess the product to determine the cause of the reported issue. If the failure is found to have resulted from incorrect installation or other installation-related factors, the claim may be excluded from coverage under the applicable voluntary warranty to the extent permitted by law.
Self-installation does not automatically void a customer's rights under the ACL. Where a product has a manufacturing defect or fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, the customer's rights will be assessed in accordance with the ACL and the circumstances of the claim.
Zero Offset recommends that products requiring specialist knowledge, tools or technical expertise be installed by a suitably qualified professional.
4. Installation Warranty
Where a customer chooses to have their parts installed by Zero Offset in-store, we provide a one-year voluntary warranty on the installation work performed by our team.
This warranty covers defects in workmanship relating to the installation carried out by Zero Offset. It does not extend the manufacturer's product warranty or automatically cover defects in the product itself.
If you believe there is an issue with an installation performed by Zero Offset, please contact our team as soon as possible. We recommend that you do not attempt to rectify the issue yourself or engage another party to alter, remove or repair the installation before we have had an opportunity to assess it.
Unauthorised tampering or subsequent work carried out by a third party may affect coverage under this voluntary installation warranty to the extent that it causes or contributes to the reported issue.
This voluntary installation warranty does not cover issues arising from:
- Improper handling, care or maintenance after installation.
- General wear and tear.
- Breakages, scuffs, scratches or other damage caused by external impacts.
- Removal, alteration, tampering or repair by a third party, including the customer, where this causes or contributes to the issue.
- Natural disasters or other external events beyond our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.
If you have purchased extended care, the applicable terms and conditions of that plan will also apply. In the event of any inconsistency, applicable consumer rights under the ACL will prevail.
5. Warranty Claims & Assessment
All warranty claims are subject to assessment and must be supported by proof of purchase and any other reasonable information required to investigate the reported issue.
Depending on the circumstances, Zero Offset may request photographs, installation details, maintenance records or an inspection of the product.
Each claim will be assessed on its individual merits, including the cause of the reported failure and any applicable manufacturer warranty conditions.
Where a claim is accepted, the available remedy will be determined in accordance with the applicable warranty terms and the ACL. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian law.
